A true hidden gem. This place has the best donuts in Ocean City - even better than Fractured Prune (and I like Fractured Prune quite a bit). These donuts are made fresh daily, have a nice crisp on the outside and are deliciously moist on the inside. Try the sand dollar donuts, they are great!

I eat donuts in every city I go to. Hands down, Dolly's in Morrow Bay, CA, blew away every donut I have ever eaten. And I've had a LOT of donuts across so many places. I hit up this spot with my hubby, on impulse. We got there late in the day and they were out of everything except sand dollars. So we got two. They were excellent. Rich, buttery, moist, with a delicious glaze that didn't overpower the dough. The owner says he only bakes in the morning and he usually runs out well before noon. That's actually more common than people might think. But that means that these donuts, which were at least in my top ten, weren't even super fresh. I haven't tried all the other donut joints in OC. I'm actually not here for much longer. So I don't have any places to compare against on the strip, or any ulterior motives. All I can do is say that as a dude who's had a lot of donuts, this place is pretty damned good.
The donuts from here are tremendous and this business is very nice! The guy Saul that runs it, I get along with him very well. He gave me money from Nepal, which I’m sure is a wonderful country… maybe a little cold for me but I’m sure wonderful. The business is fantastic. Very friendly staff and Saul is absolutely tremendous. He runs it excellent.
We were heading home and stopped here for gas at about 12:45pm on a Saturday, and although we don't usually eat donuts when we go to the beach we joked about the sign and thought well let's just see if these donuts are any good. Well, as soon as we walked inside, even though my eyes first said hmm not a place to get fresh donuts, my nose was hit with something DELICIOUS and although there weren't many donuts left and they looked unassuming, we got a sprinkles donut and a peanut donut. These donuts were just as good as they smelled! The dough was fresh and the toppings didn't overwhelm; they may ACTUALLY be the best in the beach! Will definitely get again next time we are down there.
